School Newsletter 31st October 2016

Dear Parents and Carers,

Mr Pickering
I am writing to let you know as we return to school it is with the sad news that David Pickering has passed away.  David was a true friend of the school giving his time tirelessly and freely as a governor and volunteer.  David was Chair of Governors before Mr Welsby and whilst David had stepped down as a governor he remained involved in the life of the school and was a regular volunteer for our Messy Church events.  The children always came first and he cared about them sincerely, he always remembered them at Christmas time especially and he was generous in thoughts and actions towards them.  He will be greatly missed by us all.
