Well done to Archie, Ebonie, Holly and Will who represented the school in the Hambleton area tennis competition, they did very well and were second overall, this is a fantastic achievement!
Victorian dress up day
Thank you everyone for dressing up in Victorian style clothing on the last day of half term. We had a brilliant day and we all enjoyed our ‘Victorian’ style day! Several photographs were taken which will go on the school website very soon.
Well done to the Y6 who have worked so hard raising £296.56 for their chosen charities.
Thank you everyone for supporting them.
Whilst our annual Careers Day for UKS2 is a few weeks away, if any of you would be prepared to come and share an insight into your career and working day the older children in school would love to hear about it! Please let the office know if you would be happy to volunteer for this as it would be much appreciated.
Wear Red for British Heart Foundation
‘’We’re wearing red to give heart disease a grilling!’’
On Friday 9th June we will be supporting British Heart Foundation by wearing a red item of clothing in return for a donation of £1. Your support for this worthwhile charity will be much appreciated, thank you.
The Great Get Together
On the weekend of the 16th - 18th June, ‘The Great Get Together’ will be taking place across the country and schools have been invited to take part with a special assembly on Friday 16th June. Inspired by Jo Cox, ‘The Great Get Together’ aims to bring together communities, neighbours, pupils and friends to share and celebrate all that we hold in common. School will be hosting a coffee and cake get together at the end of the school day to which you are mostly warmly welcome. School will provide coffee and donations of cakes would be most gratefully received. We hope you will be able to join us.
