Sean Perkin's Author Visit

 Our school was lucky enough to welcome back the talented author Sean Perkins on two very special occasions.

In February, Sean visited us for an exciting author talk and book signing. He captivated our children with his storytelling, shared insights into the writing process, and inspired our young readers and writers. His engaging style - mixing story-telling, rhyming, guitar playing, sound effects, and even his Oscar and Ben toys - had everyone enthralled. A huge thank you to Mrs Houghton for organising this wonderful visit!

Then in July, we were delighted to welcome Sean back for a full day of class workshops and poetry writing. During these sessions, the children had the chance to get hands-on with their own writing, exploring creativity and having fun with words under Sean’s expert guidance. It was a truly memorable experience that sparked excitement for storytelling across the school.

We are so grateful to Sean for returning to inspire our pupils and for making both visits so enjoyable and engaging!
